Do More Community provides a way for non-profit organizations to publicize their activities, successes, and volunteer opportunities, manage organizational information, mobilize staff and volunteers, and be more effective.

Your Organization

Each organization in the community has its own homepage which provides information about volunteer opportunities, upcoming events, and recent news (depending upon to which components the organization is subscribed). The page also contains basic information about the organization including an overview of the organization and contact information.

The organization homepage allows individuals to indicate their interest in the organization by either electing to volunteer, or by indicating interest in the organization. When an individual clicks the "Volunteer" or the "Add to My Organizations" link, information about your organization is displayed on their My Community page including upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and recent news. Information for individuals who elect to volunteer is then available to other members of your organization via their My Community page.

Your Members and Volunteers

Each member of your organization has their own custom homepage which displays information about your organization, including upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and recent news. The My Community page also displays a calendar of events which allows individuals to add events to their personalized calendar, keeps track of volunteer commitments (opportunities for which they have offered to volunteer), and manages tasks to which they have been assigned (coming soon) and contacts with which they need to follow-up.

From their My Community page, members of your organization can manage events, volunteer opportunities, news articles, tasks (coming soon), and contacts. Access to all of the management functionality is controlled by user permissions which are setup by an administrator from your organization.

    Accept membership dues online, request items for donation, manage documents, create and publish e-mail newsletters, and generate mailing lists for standard mail campaigns.

    Generate reports from data gathered through your constituents and volunteers use of your portal.
